Waleis requests remedy as the advowson of the church of Glennothre pertains to him and his ancestors, but his great-grandfather presented one Philip who leased the issues of the church to Turville who was parson of Dungarvan, and at the next presentation Turville disturbed it. Turville was made bishop of Ossory and the church of Dungarvan came into the king's possession and he has presented to Dungarvan and to Glennothre because of Turville's wrong, to the disinheritance of Waleis.

The petition is speculatively dated to 1300-1325 on the basis of the hand. The petition refers back to the time when Geoffrey de Turville was bishop of Ossory (1244-1250) which was 2 to 3 generations back from the petitioner.
