Chichele requests a licence that he and his executors may give and assign lands and tenements to the value of £20 per annum to the prior and convent of Christchurch which are not held of the king to celebrate and observe the intent of the schedule [formerly] annexed to the petition, and that they can have letters patent to this effect.
Nature of endorsement
[The response is partially obscured by an intrusive repair].It is agreed [with the consent of] the lords spiritual and temporal in the present parliament that the . . . Henry V and [Henry IV] held in the church of Christchurch, Canterbury, and that letters patent be made under the great seal according to the form of the schedule [formerly] annexed to this.
