Nature of request
Swynhop states that the king gave him the prebend of Old Roxburgh is the diocese of Glasgow, but, because of the enmity of the bishop of Glasgow, he could not have possession of it. He asks that he might have the profits of the prebend since his collation, and for as long as the bishop's enmity lasts, as the profits pertain to the king for this enmity; and he requests letters patent under the great seal.
