[Petition in 2 parts].1) Marsan requests letters of warrant to the treasurer of the Agenais to deliver the profits of the seal of the court of the Agenais which were granted to him by the king.2) Marsan requests that the seneschal of Gascony be commanded to deliver Gosse and the castle of Sort to him, as he was granted these with the place of Sort, but has been denied them by the machinations of the people of the places. He requests this notwithstanding that they have been given to Lupe Burgoun.

[On face].1) Let a warrant under the great seal be directed to Hustwait for the delivery of the issues of the seal to the seneschal from the time that he was made seneschal.2) He should have letters under the great seal in a suitable form.[On dorse, none].

Gascon Rolls 1307-17 no.301 is dated 23 September 1309, and no.304 is dated 20 September 1309; and these would seem to be in response to this petition. Lupe Burgoun may be Loup-Bergunh de Bordeu.
