[Petition in 2 parts].1) Stacer requests payment for wheat taken from him at Edinburgh and Berwick for the king's use as appears by bills sealed by Warley and Hotham.2) Stacer as attorney for Dereman and others requests payment for victuals taken from them at the haven of Blarenesse as appears by bills sealed by Warley and Hotham.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the treasurer, barons and chamberlains of the Exchequer that they view the bills, and if they find the debts are due then they are to make payment or a suitable assignment, receiving the bills, and charging etc.

Note
The petition dates to? c. 1327 as it makes mention of debts of the king's father which must have been incurred when Edinburgh and Berwick were still in the king's hand. In addition Warley served as keeper of the Wardrobe from 1309-1314, and Hotham served as treasurer in 1317 to 1318.
