Nature of request
Berri requests that he can have his lands and chattels and be at peace and do to the king as other people of the commons do, as £40 was demanded from him by the king's ministers for the grant made by the commons to the king, and his lands and chattels were taken into the king's hand so that he could not enter any of his houses or have any administration of his goods so that he had nothing to live on, and it was ordered to take his body so that he could not reside in the county.
Nature of endorsement
Let a writ be ordered to the sheriff that he remove his hand if the lands were not taken for another reason, and if it was for another reason then he should certify the reason and he should suffer the body in peace.Let it be ordered that Strange should be taken to come before the council to answer for the oppressions that he has made against the people.
