[A continuation of the roll of Gascon petitions found as SC 8/173/8601. The remainder of the roll consists of 9 further petitions. Little of the first petition survives, and petitions 2-6 seem to be struck through].1) [Little remains of this petition but it concerns tuns of wine].2) Siran requests that he be granted for life the customs of . . . as he was granted the bailiwicks of Laborde and Bourg and the customs of . . . for his losses in the king's service, but he has been disturbed in these by a grant of them to Durford.3) Siran requests payment of the money that he was granted for the damage done from the French, and which it was commanded to the constable of Bordeaux that he be paid from the goods of the king's enemies, since he has not been paid as the seneschal and constable attest.4) Siran requests confirmation of his retention with men at arms by the seneschal of Gascony.5) Dalhan requests grace in compensation for his losses concerning . . . which he and his coparceners hold from the king.6) Dalhan requests . . . concerning the place of B. . .e that he and his co-parceners hold from the king.7) Tastes requests that the constable of Bordeaux be ordered to account with him and to pay him or make assignment to him for . . .8) Marteilhac requests payment of his wages for the office of castellan of the castle of Saint Macaire so that he can keep the castle and mainstain his estate.9) Request [in parts illegible] that the constable of Bordeaux be ordered to account for the wages of the men-at-arms . . .1)

Let the seneschal be written to that he inform himself and certify the king.5) Let it be ordered to the seneschal that he inform himself of the business and certify the king . . .6) Let . . . if it be found that it is due then he should make payment of it from the issues of his bailiwick . . .7) Coram rege.8) Let it be ordered to the constable as before.
