Nature of request
[Petition in 7 parts. The petition is badly damaged and faded, and largely illegible].1) Dhaylanger requests that all he has in Entre-Deux-Mers be exempted from the jurisdiction of the provost of Entre-Deux-Mers and that his tenants only answer at the castle of Bordeaux.2) Dhaylanger requests letters to the constable of Bordeaux that if they find that sums for his men-at-arms both mounted and on foot are due that payment or assignment be made to him.3) Lobeyres requests the grant of the . . . of Condom and . . . as he has lost all of his land in the Agenais.4) Bat requests that he be able to take the customs as other servants of the provosts of Entre-Deux-Mers and the Ombriere [of Bordeaux] have been accustomed to take.5) Feren requests that he be granted letters that he be sergeant general of the duchy of Guyenne, . . . and holds by the letters of Ingham, the seneschal of Gascony.6) [The sense is lost of this request].7) [The sense of this request is difficult to recover: request by Lescoures concerning the rebel Alexander de Comound].1)
