Nature of request
The Cromwell's request justice for the wrongs and grievances done to them as Idonia inherited the manor of Long Marton from Robert de Vespount, and they had seisin until Thomas Wake, a minor in the king's keeping demanded the manor as his right, and by conspiracy and collusion with the escheator ousted the Cromwells from the manor.
Nature of endorsement
Because it is attested by Melton before the council that the escheator took the manor into the king's hand because of the minority of Wake, it is considered by the council that Joan, mother of the Wake heir, the escheator, and the petitioners should summoned to appear coram rege to say what they know of this and to prosecute their suit.
