Nature of request
Bisshop requests payment or assignment of the sum in which the king is indebted to him for victuals taken from him by Blound at Ingelard's orders for the king's use as appears by bills of Ingelard and Oakham. He has paid a substantial ransom following his capture by the Scots, and has nothing now to live on.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer to view the bills, and if the sum is still due then it is to be paid from the treasury or by some assignment.
