Note
The petition is clearly of 1330 as the lands were subsequently surrendered to the king, and Roger Chaundos, the sheriff of Hereford, was ordered to take them into the king's hand on the 8 January 1331 (CFR 1327-37, p.216). That this must have occurred shortly after the petition is made apparent in that both of the queen's requests were answered shortly after. On 20 January Chaundos was ordered to permit the queen's attorneys to have her goods in Glamorgan, and to aid her ministers in the collection of arrears due to her (CPR 1330-4, p.43); and on 25 February she was granted the issues of the county of Chester to support her son and the king's sister (CPR 1330-4, p.78).
