Nature of request
Claveryngge requests recompense for the suitable marriage of one of his sisters which the late king promised him in return for a grant of the reversion of all his lands in Northumberland and elsewhere; he further requests recompense for the expenses he incurred on an embassy to Scotland at the king's command; he requests a pardon of the substantial arrears from the farm of Corbridge, and a grant of the farm for life quit of rent in allowance of the marriage and the expenses.Note that the king's grant is enrolled amongst the writs of Chancery of the fifth year.1)

Let the enrolment be viewed in Chancery and they report before the council.2) And after the enrolment was viewed before the council, it was agreed by the council that Claveryngge should have it according to the purport of his petition.
