[Petition in 2 parts:]1) Poer requests that the king's ministers be ordered to . . . and make a remedy to him as the king granted him 100 marks annually of land in Oughterard and Castlewarden but the ministers have only assigned £32 of land.2) Poer requests a grant of Courtown and Glascarrig amongst the Irish of Tara Hill for 12 years, they being in the king's hand by escheat of war, and requests . . . costs of his maintenance in . . . of the peace to destroy the Irish felons there, and he requests a commission on this. The lands have been unprofitable for the last 12 years because they are occupied by Irish felons.

The petition is dated to c. 1316 as it clearly post dates the original grant to the petitioner made on 14 May 1316, but is seems unlikely that the petitioner would have waited too long after this (CCR 1313-18, p.288).
