Nature of request
The bailiffs and good people of the town of Norwich request satisfaction in the repayment of 200 marks lent to Edward II in 1311 and 100 marks lent to him in 1313, in both of which loans Edward II promised to make repayment by allowance on the fee farm of the city.
Nature of endorsement
Let them show their letters and writs in chancery and they shall have a writ to the treasurer and barons of the exchequer that the sums referred to in the petition will be allowed according to the form of the petition.
