Couper requests a remedy be ordained as Blosine claimed to be a clerk of market and to be able to enquire of false measures and other vessels, and made a false seal in deceit of the king and people, and sealed the petitioner's vessel called a potell pot or tankard for a penny.
Nature of endorsement
Blosine came before the council in June in the 13th year at Westminster and acknowledged that he sealed the vessels by virtue of his office as bailiff of the seven hundreds.
