Nature of request
The burgesses request remedy as the abbot holds the town in chief of the king and owes the service of finding two burgesses to attend parliament, but this is of recent withdrawn in contempt of the king and to the burgesses damage.
Nature of endorsement
Let the rolls of Chancery be examined to see if the burgesses are summoned or not, and if so let justice be done to them.
