Nature of request
Long requests remedy as he charged his ship with his wool and with merchandises and chattels of other merchants and it went towards Brabant when it was seized by Alqued on Wednesday after the feast of St Nicholas 1298 and taken to Calais against the peace. Alqued is still seised of it, and Long and his family are ruined.
