Japenvyle requests remedy as David de Jarpenvyle was seised of the manor of Bushey, and after his death Thomas de Jarpunville entered the manor and was seised for a great time until he was ousted by Despenser's lordship and power and it is now in the king's hand by the forfeiture of Despenser.

Let faithful people be assigned in Chancery to enquire of the contents of the petition and other matters etc. in the presence etc., and when the inquisition has been returned into Chancery let justice be done there.

The petition is dated to c. 1327 as it clearly dates to early in the reign of Edward III as it refers to the forfeiture of the elder Despenser, and complains of Despenser's actions.
