Nature of request
Mohun requests that the king order by his writs to the justices who are holding her pleas of dower to do justice to her and hold the final discussions of the pleas so that she can have her dower. She brought writs against the Meres and Courtenays for thirds of the manors of Mildenhall and Cadley but she has been delayed as the justices do not wish to proceed as the matter concerned the lord the king, and have done nothing since a previous command by the king.
Nature of endorsement
Let a writ be directed to the justices that if the process be such then they should go to judgment, notwithstanding the allegation.
