Nature of request
The Casteloks request a writ to Shareshull to enquire whether Emma, widow of Geoffrey Skyrmere died of natural causes or not, and of the conspiracy against them so that the truth can be found, and Adam Castelok restored to the law. Adam Castelok was outlawed and Maud Castelok waived by the false conspiracy of Taleby of others who sued a writ for the death of Emma Skyrmere, the mother of one of the conspirators so that Coleby could obtain some land that he coveted by escheat that the Casteloks held from him in Standhill.

Let a commission be made to Shareshull, Frilond and Hatcombe to enquire of the things contained in the petition, and return the inquisition into Chancery.
