Nature of request
Hugate requests that he is able to have a consultation of the prohibition obtained by Colby so that he can sue his recovery by the law of Holy Church of the thraves due to him and the church of Beverley from the parish of Pocklington which Colby withholds. Hugate and his predecessors as prebends have always been seised of these thraves, but Colby now disturbs them and has brought a prohibition against Hugate's plea in court Christian.
