[Petition in 2 parts].1) The petitioner requests that he be granted for life the bailiwick of Champagne and Lantras and the forest of [Bacones] with all the appurtenances to maintain his estate, as he has served the king in his Gascon wars.2) The petitioner requests that he can have payment in England of the wages and other expenses that he has incurred in the king's service as appears by the bill of the seneschal and constable of Gascony made on his account so that he is able to serve well.
