Nature of request
The Dacres request that they can be reseised of their estate as entirely as they were before the lands were taken into the king's hand. Holbeach held of them by knight's service, and had a daughter by his first wife whose issue was Bussilingthorp who is within age and in their keeping, and three daughters by his second wife, one of whom is within age and in the king's keeping by reason of her mother who held of the king of the honour of Aumale as is found by an inquisition returned into Chancery. After the death of Holbeach the Dacres and the two coheirs of full age entered the tenements held of the Dacres and were seised until the escheator ousted them by reason of the tenements held of Holbeach's second wife from the king and the minority of the third daughter from the second marriage.
Nature of endorsement
William de Airmyn is to be called to discuss this matter. Afterwards it was agreed by the council that he should go to Chancery, and if the contents of the petition are true then let them have remedy in Chancery.

The petition is dated to c. 1321 as the inquisition post mortemof Laurence de Holbeach dates to May 1321, and the escheator was twice commanded not to intermeddle with Holbeach's lands on 1 and 3 June 1321 (CIPM, vol. VI, no.277; CCR 1318-23, pp.308, 311).
