Peter atte Church requests grace and remedy regarding 15 acres of pasture in Woking, which Hugh le Despenser seized from him and retained for 16 years without making any payment. The lands are now in the king's hands on account of the Earl's forfeiture.

[on face] Surrey.[on dorse] Assign faithful men in chancery to enquire into the contents of this petition and other articles etc., in the presence etc., and return the inquisition into Chancery and let justice be done.
