Nature of request
Robert, son and heir of Reginald le Peschour, requests that he may have the king's charter to hold a waste between the River Ive and Brackenthwaite in the forest of Inglewood, comprising half an acre and a house, which Renaud received of William de Vescy, late justice of the Forest, rendering whatever pleases the king.
Nature of endorsement
Make the king's charter to the petitioner, granting the place to him and his heirs, rendering to the king and his heirs 3d. a year at Michaelmas by the hand of the sheriff of Cumberland. And the fee for the king's charter is pardoned of the king's grace on account of the poverty of the petitioner and the tenement.
