Nature of request
William le Greye requests that he be pardoned the remaining £55 of a fine of £100 which he made with Despenser. He states that because he was once bailiff of the county of Cardiff and answerable to Damory as keeper of Glamorgan, he was accused by Despenser of being of the party of the Earl of Lancaster and imprisoned for four years, until he was forced either to make this fine or die in prison.

Let him expect a common remedy as will be ordained throughout England, Wales and Ireland, and let such remedy be done as to others in similar cases.
