Nature of request
The petitioner states that someone [Brounfeld] pretending to be Abbot of Bury has taken possession of the abbey with the assistance of various people, and despite the issue of letters ordering his removal and summoning him before the court, nothing has been done. He therefore requests that the king provide remedy and ensure that the orders are carried out.
