Note (Additional information about the record)
- Haward and Botetourt died in 1308 and 1324 respectively, suggesting that the petition dates to the latter part of Edward I's reign, or possibly the early years of Edward II, if Haward was already dead by this time. A date around 1300 had therefore been suggested.
