Peter Barri (Barry).
Name(s)
Barri (Barry), Peter
Addressees
Treasurer and Council.
Nature of request
Peter Barri requests for his brother William and others that justices be appointed to hear cases in Buckinghamshire and deliver various people put in outlawry. Haward and Botetourt have been appointed in this county and elsewhere, but have not yet come.
Nature of endorsement
[None].
Places mentioned
Buckinghamshire.

William Barri (Barry), brother of the petitioner
John Botetourt
William Haward.
Note
Haward and Botetourt died in 1308 and 1324 respectively, suggesting that the petition dates to the latter part of Edward I's reign, or possibly the early years of Edward II, if Haward was already dead by this time. A date around 1300 had therefore been suggested.
