Bort and Compnab state that last year the lord of Lesparre sent to London a ship laden with wine, of which 12 tuns belonged to Launde, and upon its arrival Jakmyn came and arrested all the wine for the debt which the lord of Lesparre owed, and the wines were sold and the money sent to the mayor of London until it was decided to whom it belonged. The proctors, who have letters from the mayor and jurors of Bordeaux witnessing that the 12 tuns belonged to Launde, request that they be granted a writ to the mayor of London that he deliver to them the money received for the wine that belonged to Launde.
