Nature of request
Allerton requests that he be restored to his meadow and its profits in Kingston, which meadow Basset wrongly withholds from him so that, for fear of being killed by Basset or his men, he does not dare to work or take profit from his said meadow. He also requests that Basset make sufficient assurance to the King that John's person and goods will not be harmed by Basset or his associates in the future.
