Scosan requests that: 1) the King grant that he and his heirs can have high and low justice in the parishes of St Stephen of le Tourne, St Mary of Tabanac, St Sever of Baurech and St Martin of Cambes of all ... belonging to the said justice belonging in any way in the said parishes and to confirm by letters patent notwithstanding ... privileges in franchises granted or to be granted to the contrary or grants made to the contrary.2) The King grant that he and his heirs can have high jurisdiction ... in the parish of Beyssac in Entre-Deux-Meres with all the rights and all ... belonging to the said jurisdiction belonging in any way in the said parish and to confirm by letters patent notwithstanding any grants, franchises or privileges made or to be made to the contrary.3) The King grant that he and his heirs can have high jurisdiction which the King ... the petitioner has in the parish of St Martin de Ciron in the provostry of Barsac, and also in the wild places in the parish of Cissac in the Medoc with all the rights and ... belonging in the said jurisdiction belonging in any way in the said parishes and to confirm by letters patents notwithstanding grants or privileges made or to be made to the contrary.4) ... Bordeaux and all his heirs ... to use and enjoy of all the franchises, privileges and liberties and all other franchises ... notwithstanding any letters ... by Ferrand to the contrary.5) Whereas the parish of St Martin of Sauve with its appurtenances in Entre-Deux-Meres is accustomed to be in the jurisdiction of the petitioner's lordship of Langoiran ... in which parish his ancestors had high and low jurisdiction as of their right and inheritance ... Edward I's seneschal of Gascony ... lordship of Creon in Entre-Deux-Meres by which they ... the petitioner the said parish with the appurtenances and ... the King's hand ... and to confirm by letters patent notwithstanding any grants or [privileges] made or to be made to the contrary.6) Whereas he has high and low jurisdiction etc. in the place of St-Magne in the parish of hostens as of the heritage of his wife Miramounde, except the execution of certain criminal cases, reserved to the King's bailiff, and asks that the King grant that he and his heirs can make the said execution by their own bailiff and to confirm this by his letters patent, notwithstanding any grants or privileges made or to be made to the contrary.1)
