Nature of request
Grymeston and Neuby request that they may have a writ to the treasurer and barons to make allowance to them of £68 14s 2¾d which Hamelton owed to the late King against £86 which the said King owed to Hamelton, as the petitioners can show by bills of his Wardrobe.
Nature of endorsement
The executors' suit and the bills concerning the money due to them should be shown in Chancery, which views should be sent to the treasurer and barons etc. and they should be allowed what is due to them according to the petition.

Dated on the guard to 1327, with reference to CCR 1327-30, p. 43, an order to make allowance to the executors of Hamelton of debts owed to the King against debts owed to Hamelton, and CCR 1327-30, p. 559, an appointment by the executors of Merkingfeld and Hamelton of attorneys to prosecute all recognisances made to them in Chancery.
