Nature of request
Burghersh requests remedy for the King, that whereas the common crossing for all England is ordained at the port of Dover, the commons commonly leave from the town of London and other ports on the coast, both those defended and those undefended, to the damage of the King, the peril of the realm and the loss of custom, wherefore the provisioning should not be sustained against the said ordinance.

The Chancery roll should be seen, and a similar order made elsewhere as was made to the constable of Dover.
