Everingham requests that he recover his view of frankpledge in the manors of Laxton and North Leverton, now in the King's hand. His grandfather ... had view of frankpledge in the said manors and leet of all the ... the said manors as more fully is found in the Eyre of Nottingham by a formal inquest between the King and the grandfather in a quo warranto by which he was ... to answer to the King or in the next Eyre ... the said Eyre of Nottingham held before Vaux ... then justices errant in the said county the said views of frankpledge were seised into the hand of Edward I where they still are.
