Nature of request
Tweng states that whereas Hunterton gave the moiety of ... which is held of the King in chief, to Menyll so that after his death it would pass to Lucy de Tweng and her heirs, but the lands were taken into the King's hand because Hunterton did not ask his permission to do this, for which Tweng sued a writ of inquest and has sued to have the King's charter of pardon for the purchase. Tweng requests that the inquest be viewed so that the land can be returned to him in exchange for a reasonable fine.
Nature of endorsement
It should go to Chancery and the inquest viewed there and the complainant admitted to make fine and he should have a writ ad liberandum for the land contained in the petition.
