Nature of request
Hauteyn requests that he be paid for sugar to the value of £15 10s which Useflet took from him for the King's use in the second year of his reign (1328) and for which he has a bill sealed by Useflet.
Nature of endorsement
It should be sent to the treasurer and chamberlains of the Exchequer to view the bill and if the debt is due to him, he should have payment or due assignment, receiving the bill and charging etc.
