Trussebut requests that he can sue for the King that Avenel, who was an adherent of the Scots, had forfeited the manor of Carlton le Moorland to the King and that no recovery was made by the abbot of Thornton. The abbot had presented a bill in parliament claiming that he had recovered the manor from Avenel by judgment of the King's court.
