- John le Bruyn states that he and Dymoke were appointed to collect an aid of 40s on knight's fees in Oxfordshire, but that Dymoke collected all the money, and he collected none. Dymoke has now died, and he is now being pursued by the Exchequer for payment, although he never collected any money, and he prays remedy.
- Nature of endorsement
- Let a writ be sent to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer that they find out by inquest or otherwise whether John received any of this money, and if he did not then he is to be discharged, and the heirs of Dymoke should be accountable if they have lands or tenements of the said Dymoke after his death.
