Nature of request
Mustard requests justice against Trelawne and Tregary who, with their associates, lay in wait at night at the churchyard of St Thomas at Launceston to murder the petitioner who was then taking supper with the prior of Launceston, and who have held certain lands of the petitioner for over nine years, destroying his oak and ash trees and paying no rent, to his harm of over 10 marks, and who came with force into Devon and left 24 of his oxen and cattle there, and who broke his coffer and stole his deeds and evidences for his lands and tenements, and who stole his horse, all of which is common knowledge in the area.
