Hugh requests that Caunteton or Rochford be appointed to hear an action of novel disseisin brought against Blount and fitzHugh relating to the lands of Knockrath. Blount was allied to the great lords of the land and in four years acquired 400 librates of land by champerty, conspiracy and fraud, to the detriment of Hugh, his wife and their ten children.
