- The men of Little Yarmouth and Gorleston request that they can have proclaimed their usages, as have their ancestors from time of memory, that all merchants and food-related merchandise coming into the port of Yarmouth can sell and be sold, because the men of Great Yarmouth bought a charter from Langton in the last days of Edward I witnessing the truth, without having a writ of inquiry and without making a fine to the king, in disinheritance of the King of £30 yearly, to the damage of his people living in the said towns and contrary to the great charter.
