Dated on the guard to? 1307, with reference to CPR 1313-17, p. 313, a 1315 oyer and terminer to Adam de Midelton and others, on complaint by the prioress of Swine, that although she, her men, lands, rents and possessions had been taken into the king's protection, John de Sutton and others forcibly took her cattle at Drypool in Holderness and drove them to Southcoates, and impounded them there, and assaulted her men and servants at Drypool.
