John de Playce requests remedy regarding the manors of Langley and Wraysbury, detailing the history of the manor over the previous century and the various wardships and grants. He claims rights to the property, and asks that the various claims and petitions be examined and that, if successful, he be restored.

Note
Dated on dorse of guard to c. 1380, with reference to CPR 1381-5, p.22, a 1381 commission to enquire touching lands of Avelina, wife of Edmund, brother of Edward I, of the inheritance of Richard de Monfichet, an inquisition that Ralph Plaiz and others were her heirs in manors of Langley and Wraysbury. Other petitions on this matter would seem to concur with such a date.
