Nature of request
Pelagrine requests that, since her late husband Thomas, attorney for various men of Gascony, died before receiving £348 18s 6d due from the issues of the duchy of Guyenne by letters patent of Edward I, the king pay her 10 marks in partial payment of the said assignment so that she can return to Bayonne with her six children. Also that the king grant her the remaining £342 5s 2d by letters to the seneschal of Gascony and constable of Bordeaux.
Nature of endorsement
Let the treasurer and chamberlain view the letter mentioned in the petition, and if the petition is correct let her be paid 10 marks on top of expenses as soon as possible. And let the constable of Bordeaux pay or make assignment as soon as possible.
