Nature of request
Alexander, archbishop of Dublin and the dean and chapter of the free chapel of Penkridge request that the action between the dean and chapter of Lichfield and themselves be brought before the king. The dean and chapter of Lichfield had disinherited the free chapel of Penkridge of their rights and members and brought an action of oyer and terminer against their canons and ministers when they strove to maintain the same.
