Nature of request
Lachele requests remedy for the harm done to him by Henry, bishop of Lincoln, then chancellor, who caused the manor of Latchley to be seized into the king's hand because of the non-age of Giles Badlesmere, after Margaret, his mother, answered a writ as the tenant of Latchley, when her tenancy cannot be maintained against the right of Lachele.
Nature of endorsement
Let the tenure and writs by which it was seized be examined in Chancery, and also the inquests taken on the diem clausit extremum after the death of Bartholomew de Badlesmere, and remedy be ordained.
