Note
Nicholas de Louth is known to have been treasurer of Ponthieu between c. 1361 and at least 1367 (E 36/14, E 36/79-80), while Lovayn, specified as governor received licence to travel to Ponthieu from Dover on 17 November 1367 (CPR 1367-70, p.71). The handwriting would seem to date to this period. The writ was dated at Windsor in July, but the day is unclear, although it may be 13. No year is given.
