Ellerker requests that he be paid or that an assignment is made so that he can be satisfied for a sum that he and John Ellerker lent to the king's father. Ellerker has twice sued for payment at parliament, but the assignments made to him to be taken from the prior of . . . have not been paid because of earlier assignments, and the treasurer does not wish to pay him.1)
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege et mango consilio.2) Let the treasurer, barons and chamberlains of the Exchequer be commanded by writ containing the effect of this petition that if they are able to find that the assignment was made he is to have an assignment elsewhere.
