Nature of request
The commons request remedy as they are being distrained for the damages and robberies made by the people of Tynedale who pass through their land to Scotland and do great damage, because the malefactors cannot be arrested in the queen's liberty of Tynedale.
Nature of endorsement
Let the queen's council be called, and if she does not ordain a remedy concerning the malefactors then let a great commission be directed to the lords of the country where the malefactors pass, and let them be arrested and taken.
