Nature of request
Brus requests grace and remedy and that she is able to have her dower from the knight's fees in the honour of Huntingdon of which her husband died seised, and which her son assigned Neville and Caproun for her dower a year before his forfeiture. By Neville and Caproun's negligence and delay the fees are taken into the king's hand by the escheator of Huntingdonshire.
Nature of endorsement
Because the fee was in the hand of the king she should sue in Chancery and let justice be done to her there. And let the earl of Hereford who holds part of this fee by grant of the king be commanded that he make to the petitioner a reasonable assignment of dower.
